About this event
The Strategic Staffing Solutions Turkey Trot kicks off America's Thanksgiving Parade and has been a Detroit tradition for over 40 years, often called "The Parade before The Parade" as thousands of costumed participants pass the largest spectator crowd in Michigan. Choices are the 10K Turkey Trot, the 5K Stuffing Strut and the family-friendly Mashed Potato Mile, all stroller friendly. Every participant gets a long-sleeved technical shirt and finishers receive custom-designed medals; pets and bikes aren't permitted.
Good to know
10K and 1 mile start 7:30am; 5K starts 8:30am
