About this event
The Downtown Bangor Partnership lights the city's holiday tree in West Market Square, an hour-long community gathering that marks the start of the season downtown. It suits families with kids and anyone already in town for holiday shopping.
Our take: Duck into one of downtown Bangor's restaurants or waterfront eateries afterward to warm up after the outdoor lighting.
