About this event
Main Street Skowhegan turns downtown into SKOW-Whoville for two Grinch-themed days on Water Street. The weekend opens with a lighted parade led by the Grinch, his sidekick Martha Mae, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Recent editions have filled the next day with free family activities around downtown: Grinch games and photo ops, a Grinch story walk and scavenger hunt, face painting, cookie decorating, ornament making, horse and carriage rides, and appearances by Cindy Lou Who, along with a free screening of The Grinch.
Our take: Follow the free treats from stop to stop, from hot cocoa and peppermint ice cream to popcorn and cotton candy.
