About this event
Maineiac Manor is a haunted house inside the Bangor Mall in Bangor, Maine, directly across from Spencer's and next to Spirit Halloween. Full-scare entry uses Spirit Halloween's outside door when the mall's regular entrances are closed. Several dates open with a No Scare window before the full haunt, and one Friday is billed as Into the Dark. The house uses strobe and disorienting lighting, loud sound effects, fog, and sudden scares. Tickets can be bought online or at the door; online buyers need the QR code ready at check-in.
Our take: Use the No Scare hour if you want a softer first pass, and enter through Spirit Halloween's outside door once the mall entrances are shut.
Parking
Do not touch actors or props. No weapons, lighters, photography, flashlights, running, alcohol, smoking, or vaping. Full scare entry is through Spirit Halloween's outside entrance.
Good to know
No Scare and Full Scare windows vary by date. Into the Dark is the Friday before Halloween.
