About this event
Village Holidays brings downtown Bar Harbor together for an evening of festivities, local shopping and community traditions. Families gather on the Village Green to welcome Santa to town and light the green for the season, then head to the MDI YMCA for crafts and activities with the YMCA, SFOA and the Jesup, plus more time with Santa. Later, Shop the Madness lets shoppers check off gift lists with deals from participating businesses, supporting the shops that keep Bar Harbor going year-round.
Our take: Stay downtown after the tree lighting for Shop the Madness, when participating businesses roll out their deals.
