About this event
The Maryland Renaissance Festival gathers artisans, performers, and stages in a village setting at 1821 Crownsville Road, Annapolis. Patrons are welcomed to wear costumes suitable for a family-friendly atmosphere. Performers are paid by the King's purse, scheduled by the Artistic Director, and do not take tips. A photo contest runs alongside the stage, street, and royal-court entertainment. Wander the stages and street acts rather than locking the day to a single show.
Our take: Use the signed handicapped spaces beside the Main Gate if you need them, and wear a family-friendly costume if you want to join the village look.
Parking
Handicapped parking next to the Main Gate; follow signs. 1821 Crownsville Road, Annapolis. Pets not allowed except trained service animals. No weapons. Shoes required. Smoking and vaping only in designated areas.
Good to know
10am to 7pm on listed festival dates. No coolers; food permitted. One manufacturer-sealed bottle of water per person. No outside beverages otherwise.
