About this event
Midnight Madness has been one of historic Old Ellicott City's most beloved traditions for more than four decades, presented by the Ellicott City Partnership along Main Street. Recent editions have opened with Santa greeting kids at the historic Log Cabin, school choirs and a tree lighting ceremony in Tiber Park, and a holiday train garden at the historic B&O Railroad Station. Shops and restaurants stay open late, and carolers fill Main Street as the night goes on.
Our take: Come for the tree lighting and then linger, since the shops and restaurants keep going long after dark.
