About this event
Northeast Louisiana nonprofits fill the historic gardens at the Biedenharn Museum in Monroe with scarecrow displays, and a judged competition sends awards back to the groups behind the winning figures. Visitors walk the garden paths, then cast a public vote on the displays after guest judges name first, second, and third. The scarecrows are the show; the garden is the gallery. Read the nonprofit names as you go so your vote is for a display you actually stood in front of.
Our take: Walk the full garden before you vote so the ballot matches displays you have actually seen.
