About this event
The Fright Night 5K starts and finishes at Flying Tiger Brewery on North 2nd Street and runs through downtown Monroe. Creepy characters and surprise frights line the course. Walkers are welcome, and the night is open to families as well as people chasing a time. After the finish, custom medals, age-group awards, a costume contest, and live music keep the downtown party going. The race supports the Downtown Monroe Main Street Volunteer Board and the downtown events that board hosts.
Our take: Wear a costume you can run or walk in, then stay downtown for the contest and the music after the finish.
