About this event
The Monroe Jingle Bell Classic starts and finishes in Forsythe Park on Sycamore Street, with a half marathon and a 5K. It raises money for the Louisiana Purchase Council of Scouting America, funding Scouts in Northeast and Central Louisiana, programs for at-risk youth and scholarships to Camp T.L. James and Camp Attakapas. Organizers also pitch it as a way to encourage the community to embrace a more active lifestyle.
