About this event
The Lawrence Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade sets out to entertain and teach spectators about the history of transportation and the role of the horse. The committee picks up to 100 entries. The 5.5-mile route starts and ends at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, with a law-enforcement escort through downtown and official outriders. Entries are expected in theme attire, on vehicles with wooden or metal wheels.
