About this event
Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville sets up at Gallagher Way on North Clark Street as part of the Winterland at Gallagher Way, which surrounds the market with outdoor holiday activities for the whole family. The Christkindlmarket idea took shape in 1995, when the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest partnered with officials in Nuremberg, Germany, to promote trade, and the first Chicago market opened on Pioneer Court in 1996. Expect international and local vendors, live entertainment and Glühwein, the mulled wine imported from Germany.
Our take: On weekdays the market doesn't open until mid-afternoon, so save a daytime visit for the weekend.
