About this event
Life Time Turkey Trot Chicago runs through Lincoln Park along the shores of Lake Michigan, with the start, finish and Turkey Trot Tailgate just south of Diversey near Cannon Drive. Runners and walkers choose a 5K or 8K, and kids ages 2 to 12 get their own Plymouth Rock Ramble at distances from 50 yards to a half mile. The tailgate brings cornhole, football, photo ops and a giant Turkey Tom inflatable, and the race benefits the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Parking
Parking around Lincoln Park is limited; organizers encourage CTA buses (#22 Clark, #36 Broadway, #151 Sheridan), taxis or ride shares, with drop-off at Cannon Drive and Diversey Parkway.
Good to know
Race-day packet pickup 6–8:45am; 5K and 8K 9am; awards and costume contest 10:30am; Plymouth Rock Ramble 11am. No dogs on course or in the tailgate.
