Idaho Veterans Parade

The Idaho Veterans Parade is Boise's way of saying thank you, honoring the service and sacrifice of every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces with a parade through downtown Boise. Organized entirely by volunteers, it invites veteran and military organizations, schools, scout troops, marching bands and civic groups from across the Treasure Valley to join the procession, while everyone else is invited to line the route and cheer them on. Floats and boys and girls scout units join in as well, and organizers call it one of Boise's largest parades.
