About this event
The Boise Holiday Parade, put on by the Holiday Parade Association with community sponsors, is a longtime downtown Boise tradition. The morning parade starts at Jefferson and 10th streets and lasts about an hour and a half, with families lining the route on chairs and blankets. Idaho weather on parade day has ranged from bitterly cold to surprisingly warm, so dress for the forecast.
Our take: Get there early with chairs or a blanket and pack light; spots along the route fill and organizers ask you not to crowd neighbors.
