About this event
Jingle Bell Run – Metro DC lines up in West Potomac Park off Independence Avenue SW, with a chip-timed 5K, an untimed 5K and a kids run open to dogs and strollers. It is the hub of the area's Back-to-Back Bells challenge: run here and pick Baltimore, Montgomery County or Solomons Island as a second race for exclusive swag, a custom bib and a unique finisher prize. Nirschl Orthopaedic Center hip and knee surgeon Dr. Kurtis Carlock, a Northern Virginia native, is the medical honoree.
