About this event
The SHRM Washington DC Impact 5K is a community-focused race on Rock Creek/Beach Drive, at 4850 Colorado Ave NW, uniting runners, walkers and supporters for a morning of movement, connection and impact. Its primary mission is raising scholarship funds for the SHRM Foundation, which supports initiatives that build better, more inclusive workplaces and empower workforce development. The race also features a Gratitude and Veterans Appreciation Drive: participants can bring a new pack of warm thermal socks or stop by the race-day station to write a handwritten note of thanks for local veterans at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. A virtual 5K is offered as well.
Good to know
5K starts 8am. In-person registration $45, rising after Oct 25; virtual 5K $55.
