About this event
Stonington's Lobster Trap Tree is a holiday landmark built from lobster traps and decorated with hand-painted buoys by more than 170 professional artists and 40 local families, all strung with thousands of colorful lights. The lighting ceremony on High Street switches it on for the season, and visitors can step inside the tree to see it from within.
Our take: Step inside the tree and look up: the view through the painted buoys makes the best photo.
