About this event

The Ann's Place Festival of Trees is Greater Danbury's signature holiday event and the biggest fundraiser for Ann's Place, a local charity that supports families facing cancer. More than 150 trees and wreaths decorated by individuals, groups and area businesses form a forest that is raffled off when the festival ends, alongside high-end raffle prizes, a silent auction, the Boutique and Quilter's Corner gift shops and an artisan crafts fair. The festival began in 2003 at the Portuguese Center and draws 4,000 to 5,000 visitors over three days.

Our take: Come Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. for Sip, Stroll & Shop, when the ticket adds a free beer or wine, nibbles and a door-prize chance.
