Brown's Harvest Fall Festival

Families from central Connecticut and southern Massachusetts come to Brown's Harvest in Windsor for hayrides, a 5-acre corn maze, a kids maze, a barrel train, a jump pad, and B-barn activities. Shopping the store, picking out pumpkins, seeing vendors, hearing live music, and browsing food trucks does not require a festival ticket. A weekday maze ticket is a smaller set: the 5-acre maze, kids maze, chickens, and a small play area. Weekend admission adds the hayride, barrel train, jump pad, and visits with chickens and turkeys. A 10-punch card works without festival admission and can be spent on cider donuts, socks, or flashlight maze nights.

Our take: Skip the weekend ticket if you only want the store and a pumpkin, and use a punch card for cider donuts.
