About this event
Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch is a family-run farm in Longmont, at 9059 Ute Highway, open with the Colorado growing season from May through November. Late spring and summer mean the farm stand and market, with certified organic produce, flowers, and local goods, before the property shifts into the Fall Festival and pumpkin patch. Festival guests get pumpkins, festive attractions, carnival rides, and a petting zoo. The carnival itself is limited to Saturdays and Sundays. November ends the festival and opens a Holiday Market tied to the farm's Full Circle Farms operation.
Our take: Come on a Saturday or Sunday if the carnival rides are the point; a weekday in the festival window is pumpkins and the patch without the carnival.
Good to know
Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on open days; Oct. 31 closes at 4 p.m. Carnival is Saturdays and Sundays.
