About this event

Since 1987, the Boulder Farmers Market has been a downtown institution at 13th Street and Canyon Boulevard. It puts farmers first, so aisles overflow with leafy greens, radishes and Colorado peaches from multi-generational Palisade orchards, alongside regenerative ranchers and young chefs cooking in the food court. Musicians play through the market, and local artisans join on the second Saturday of each month. Boulder County Farmers Markets also runs a midweek evening market here in summer.

Our take: Use the two free lots behind the market off 14th Street; if they fill, the city garages are free on Saturdays, the nearest at 14th and Walnut.

Parking

Two lots behind the market off 14th Street are free during market hours; City of Boulder garages are free on Saturdays (closest at 14th and Walnut); Boulder High School sells weekend parking for its boosters.

Good to know

Saturdays, 8 a.m.–2 p.m. (the Wednesday evening market ends in early October). No pets.
