About this event

Longmont was farm country long before it became a tech hub, and its Saturday farmers market at the Boulder County Fairgrounds keeps that link alive. It is a growers-only market, so every product is made locally and sold by the person who produced it. More than 100 small, family-owned vendors bring seasonal vegetables, dairy, Colorado-raised meats, pantry goods and ready-to-eat food, with music ranging from drum circles to string quartets. It sits right off the St. Vrain Greenway, so arriving by bike is easy.

Our take: Aim for the fourth Saturday of the month, when local artisans join the farmers.

Parking

Plenty of free parking on site at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (Hover Street and Boston Avenue); the St. Vrain Greenway offers bike access.

Good to know

Saturdays, 8 a.m.–1 p.m., all-weather. No pets.
