About this event
For more than 50 years, the Downtown Denver Partnership has produced the 9NEWS Parade of Lights, Colorado's most dazzling holiday tradition and the moment Denver kicks off the holiday season. The free, family-friendly parade brings the community together in the heart of downtown through light, music and cultural expression, and it has become a multi-generational tradition for hundreds of thousands of Denver and Colorado families, with recent crowds topping 200,000. Denver Civic Ventures raises funds each year to keep it free to the public.
Our take: With crowds this size, take transit downtown and pick your viewing spot early.
