About this event
SWEA San Francisco has held its Swedish Christmas Fair since 1984, sharing Swedish culture and traditions while raising funds for scholarships and donations. Inside St. Mary's Cathedral, the fair offers traditional and modern handmade crafts, books, clothes, jewelry and decor, plus treasures at the White Reindeer table. Glögg, gingerbread, shrimp sandwiches and waffles fill the air, and shoppers can take home Lucia buns, pickled herring and Swedish candy. Kids enjoy a fish pond, Christmas crafts, dancing around the tree and a visit from Santa, and Lucia concerts in the cathedral are a highlight.
