About this event
The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade is one of the few remaining illuminated night parades in North America and the biggest Lunar New Year parade outside Asia. Dragons, dancers, floats and drummers set off from 2nd and Market Street. The 2027 parade celebrates the Year of the Ram.
Our take: Bleacher seats are ticketed, so buy ahead if you'd rather sit; otherwise come early for a curbside spot near the start.
