Sunset Holiday Mercantile

Sunset Mercantile brings its Holiday Mercantile indoors to the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, inviting San Franciscans to eat, drink, shop, play, connect and be local. More than 100 local makers, merchants, artists and vendors set up alongside food artisans and food trucks, with beer and wine tasting, live music, storytelling, a holiday photo booth and children's activities. Community causes are part of the mix, in keeping with the organizer's goal of helping budding entrepreneurs and local nonprofits showcase their work.

Our take: Sample the food artisans and beer and wine tasting, then walk over to the Inner Sunset for more local shops and eateries.
