About this event
Enchanted Forest of Light turns Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge into a glowing evening walk of about a mile. Favorites like Flower Power and the Ancient Forest return alongside a new laser light show on the Main Lawn with a "snowfall" finale, Tom Fruin's luminous house sculptures in the Oak Grove, and Giant Koi in the Garden of Good Fortune marking the Japanese Gardens' 60th anniversary. The route works for strollers and wheelchairs, seasonal food and drinks are sold along the way, and Farmhouse takes dinner reservations.
Our take: Book dinner at Farmhouse before your entry time, or come during the early-December Holiday Market of local craftspeople on the Main Lawn.
Parking
Parking is limited; groups and buses must call ahead to reserve.
