About this event
The San Joaquin Clay & Glass Association grew out of a 1981 ad in the Fresno Bee, placed by four Fresno Art Center board members hoping to gather the Central Valley's ceramic artists. Its fall festival now brings more than 50 local makers to the grounds of Redeemer Lutheran Church at Bullard and Palm. Everything is handmade and for sale: functional pottery and serveware, sculpture, blown, fused and stained glass, jewelry, garden art and ornaments. The artists work their own booths, so you can ask about process and materials.
Our take: Come early for the widest choice; every piece is one of a kind, and a handmade ornament or mug makes an easy holiday gift.
