About this event
At the end of World War II, local voters created the Clovis Veterans Memorial District as a living memorial to the nation's veterans, and its Veterans Day program fills the district's home on Fourth Street. The car show lines Veterans Parkway, while inside you'll find veterans documentaries, the Faces of Our Veterans and Women in Military exhibits, a blood drive by American Legion Post 147 and the open Community Heritage Center. VFW Post 3225 serves a pancake breakfast, and a patriotic concert plays in the Liberty Ballroom.
Our take: Start with the VFW pancake breakfast, walk the car show before the late-morning concert, and stay for the early-afternoon car awards.
Good to know
