About this event
Billed as Southern Arizona's largest holiday arts celebration, the Oro Valley Festival of the Arts & Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration turns the Oro Valley Marketplace into a winter wonderland. More than 150 juried artists and artisans sell one-of-a-kind gifts, while over 500 student and community performers take the stage. Families can pose for free photos with Santa, the Golder Ranch fire truck and Oro Valley police, decorate cookies, join a TUBACHRISTMAS play-along and catch caroling and puppet shows. On the first evening, a 35-foot holiday tree is lit with caroling and a Santa parade.
Our take: Make the first day your pick so you can shop the artists by day and stay for the tree lighting at dusk.
