About this event
The Jonesboro Christmas Parade is a free nighttime parade that starts at the Main Street bridge and heads south on Main Street to Oak Avenue, with lighted floats, bands and dance groups bringing a theme chosen by Jonesboro voters to life. Santa and Mrs. Claus close out the parade, so stay until the end. Judges award prizes such as Best Float and Best Band, and the winners pick the nonprofit that receives the proceeds.
Our take: Seat little ones near the curb, since participants hand out candy and treats instead of throwing them.
