Peebles Farm Corn Maze & U-Pick Pumpkins

Peebles Farm is an 800-acre organic vegetable farm halfway between Augusta and McCrory on Highway 64, on the north side of the road across from the John Deere place. The family bought the property in 1996 and opened it to visitors in 2004. Fall brings 60 acres of u-pick pumpkins and a 16-acre corn maze, plus hay rides, horse-and-wagon rides, 9 acres of sunflowers and zinnias, a kiddie zipline, duck races, and a cow train. The farm is wheelchair accessible and has permanent bathrooms with a baby changing station.

Our take: Walk the 16-acre corn maze and the u-pick pumpkin field in one visit, then stop by the sunflowers and zinnias.
