About this event
Each January, fans from around the world travel to Graceland in Memphis to celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday and his life, music and lasting influence. The celebration brings live music tributes, special guest appearances and discussions of his career and cultural impact. Its most meaningful moment is the Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony on his birthday, held on the front lawn of Graceland, where fans and dignitaries gather together.
Our take: Graceland's Christmas tours of the decorated mansion run through his birthday, so an early-in-the-week tour can catch both.
