About this event
Sundance Winter Festival turns Main Street in Sundance, Wyoming, into a ski-joring course, with a cowboy on a galloping horse pulling a skier through obstacles and snow jumps. Around the racing, the listing lines up art shows, food vendors, restaurants, and live entertainment at the pubs. The town leans on its history of rowdy cowboy Saturday nights and of Native American villages that once camped at the base of Sundance Mountain for Sun Dance ceremonies.
