About this event
The Campbell County Fair runs for ten days in Gillette, with 4-H and FFA youth livestock shows, open-class and 4-H static exhibits, a trade show and the Youth Livestock Sale. The most recent fair's community events included pig wrestling at the Morningside Park Grandstands, a ranch rodeo, a homemade fruit pie contest, dachshund races, a watermelon eating contest and a jackpot at the Wrangler Arena, plus PeeWee livestock shows and a PeeWee rodeo for kids 7 and under. The fair office is at 1635 Reata Drive.
Our take: Watch for the fair schedule in late winter: the county publishes it each February or March.
