About this event
Gillette's Festival of Trees began in 1992, when a small group of volunteers decorated 16 trees and wreaths and raised $9,172 for the Lifeline Emergency Response System. Part of the Community Health Foundation since 2004, it now shows more than 60 decorated trees and wreaths that are auctioned to support local health care, and it has raised more than $4 million for Campbell County, funding Lifeline, mental health services, cancer care and health care scholarships. Senior Day opens with a holiday lunch and live music, when seniors vote for their favorite tree or wreath.
Our take: Come on Family Day for shopping and entertainment among the decorated trees.
