About this event
Since 1927, Gritt's Farm in Buffalo, West Virginia, has been a family plant, produce, and agritourism place, and the fall visit adds a glowing pumpkin forest and a sunflower festival. A farmer float and a sunflower bloom are among the one-time extras. The same farm is known for award-winning farm-to-table dinners and spring planting workshops, and its festival draws thousands of local and national guests. It runs as a three-season operation from spring through fall.
Our take: Walk the glowing pumpkin forest after dark if you can, since that is the fall extra that needs low light.
