About this event
Downtown PKB's Winterfest is an evening at Bicentennial Park, 201 3rd Street in Parkersburg, with the activities held outside. Families can hit a Discovery World STEM stop, train rides, a visit with Santa, face painting, letters to Santa, cookies and hot chocolate from the City of Parkersburg, and a story with Mrs. Claus. Local dance and baton groups perform. A Winterfest ceremony leads into the city tree lighting and fireworks, with food trucks on hand.
Our take: Do the kid stops at Bicentennial Park first, then keep your spot for the ceremony, tree lighting, and fireworks.
