About this event
The Historic Trust's Lough Legacy Veterans Parade, presented by Gesa Credit Union, steps off rain or shine at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The route begins at the east end of Officers Row at East Reserve Street and Evergreen Boulevard, winds through the national site and concludes on 5th Street near Pearson Air Museum, and the parade is broadcast live on CVTV for those unable to attend in person. Alongside the parade, the Community Military Appreciation Committee hosts a Veterans Day Open House at Pearson Air Museum, where local employers and organizations that support veterans connect with veterans and community members.
Our take: Walk over to the Veterans Day Open House at Pearson Air Museum, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the end of the route.
Parking
Free parking at the Clark Public Utilities building off Mill Plain and Fort Vancouver Way, the open lot south of the O. O. Howard House, and the Fort Vancouver lot on E 5th Street.
