About this event
A Traditional Christmas in Stowe opens the holiday season as the whole village lights up, and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce has named it a Top Ten Winter Event. The weekend brings tree lightings, a children's lantern parade, an art center filled with festooned trees, wagon rides, a holiday bazaar, a winter farmers market and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Live holiday music, ornament and cookie decorating, holiday skating and a stroll down Candy Cane Lane to support local merchants round out the celebration.
