About this event

Winter Lights at Shelburne Museum lights the campus with installations that include the 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga and the model train village in the Diamond Barn. The Beach Woods pine grove holds woodland creatures by artist Calvin Laituri. Guests can walk the grounds or take a drive-around tour on designated evenings. The walk is about half a mile on packed gravel with ups and downs. Weathervane Cafe, open on walk-through evenings, serves light snacks and hot chocolate from Lake Champlain Chocolates and stays closed on drive-around nights.

Our take: Choose a walk-through night if you want the Weathervane Cafe and the Diamond Barn train village, and wear shoes for uneven gravel.

Parking

Pets are not permitted; service animals are welcome. No sleds or toboggans. Smoke-free campus.
