About this event
The Reston Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting fills Reston Town Center with a full day of holiday celebration, one of Northern Virginia's favorite traditions. A morning parade brings festive marching groups and live entertainment down the streets, holiday activities carry through the afternoon, and the day closes with the lighting of Reston Town Center's iconic holiday tree, in a town center built around the Mercury Fountain and its open-air glass pavilion.
Our take: Fill the gap between parade and lighting with a spin on the outdoor ice rink in the heart of the plaza.
Parking
Garages are free for the first hour, free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and free on weekends; metered street parking along Market Street.
