About this event
Belvedere Plantation near Fredericksburg is a working grain and pumpkin farm of more than 600 acres that is over 260 years old; the Fulks family bought it in 1968 and has hosted its Fall Harvest Festival for decades. The Great Pumpkin Patch is reached by wagon ride, and the farm adds a jumping pillow, pick-your-own flower fields, racing slides and an old-fashioned barnyard. Food comes from the farm's bakery, Cogburn's Feed Bin, the Red Rooster Grill and a pizza kitchen.
Our take: Bring quarters for the Olde Barnyard animal feeders and grab lunch at the Red Rooster Grill.
Good to know
Cashless: cards, Apple Pay or store credit (cash can be converted). Gate tickets cost $5 more than online. Pumpkins 75 cents a pound. Children 2 and under free.
