About this event
The Intermountain Foundation's Festival of Trees has raised money for Intermountain Health Primary Children's Hospital for more than half a century. Each year the Mountain America Expo Center fills with dazzling decorated trees, handcrafted wreaths and whimsical gingerbread houses created by community members, many of them offered at auction. Thousands of volunteers make it happen, school choirs and dance troupes perform on stage, and the event draws tens of thousands of visitors in a single week.
Our take: Go on a weekday morning, before the weekend crowds, to see the trees with room to linger.
