About this event
WitchFest has been one of Utah's premier Halloween festivals since 2000, taking over Gardner Village in West Jordan with larger-than-life witch displays along brick pathways. The village wraps locally owned shops and restaurants around the historic Gardner Mill, listed on the National Historic Register, with Archibald's Restaurant in the old flour mill and silo. Guests can book Breakfast with a Witch, Witchapalooza Dinner Theater, the Bewitching Escape Room, Witches Night Out, the Manifestations Magic Show with Dinner, a scavenger hunt, and the Witch Run. Shops may add face painting, caramel apples, wagon rides, a petting zoo, and the Witch Express Train. The village is at 1100 West 7800 South, minutes from downtown Salt Lake City.
Our take: Book Breakfast with a Witch or the Witchapalooza Dinner Theater ahead if that is the reason for the trip, since those activities need a reservation.
Parking
Do not park on 7800 South.
Good to know
Closed Sundays. Halloween day runs until 4 p.m.; Archibald's closes at 4 p.m. that day.
