About this event

The Kinlands pumpkin patch in Riverton is open to walk in. By day, wagons roll through the rows, children tumble into a bean pool, and slides and swings stay open. Animals to visit include horses, goats, turkeys, chickens, cats, and emus, though it is not a petting zoo. Prim, a white cottage at the patch entrance, starts guests with caramel apples, cider, and cronuts. The 4,000-square-foot shoppe adds cider donuts, pumpkin butter, sourdough, mulling spices, jewelry, and porch decor such as straw bales and cornstalks. Jack-o-lanterns, kaleidoscope pumpkins, Great Pumpkins, minis, and pie pumpkins are for sale.

Our take: Start at Prim for cider and a cronut, then let the kids hit the bean pool before you pick from the rows.

Parking

Onsite parking is in two lots; overflow should use the south lot.

Good to know

Groups may send no more than two guests into the Shoppe at a time, with a guide. Guided field trips are no longer offered.
