Wings Over Houston

CAF Wings Over Houston is a Commemorative Air Force airshow at Ellington Airport in Houston, dedicated to vintage World War II aircraft and the thrills of modern aviation. It is a community event put on by volunteers of the Houston Wing, Gulf Coast Wing, and Tora! Tora! Tora! of the Commemorative Air Force, with support from the Lone Star Flight Museum, Collings Foundation-Houston at Ellington, and the Vietnam War Flight Museum. Listed attractions include Legends and Heroes, an autograph tent, veterans, a business marketplace, and Wings For All, a Friday special show.

Our take: Plan time on the ground as well as in the stands: the Legends and Heroes area and the vintage World War II aircraft are as much of the day as the flying.
