About this event
The Christmas Tree Forest is a long-standing holiday tradition at the International Museum of Art & Science in McAllen, organized by the IMAS Guild, a volunteer group of women who raise funds for the museum. Community groups from preschoolers to adult organizations each take a tree and decorate it with handmade ornaments around a shared theme, so the forest shows off local creativity in one room. The 2026 theme is "Art of the America's: Nature Edition."
Our take: Look for the title each group gives its tree, since reading them is half the fun of walking the forest.
