Mainstay Farm Pumpkin Fall Days

Mainstay Farm Park and Winery in Cleburne calls itself the Biggest Backyard in Texas and runs Pumpkin Fall Days with more than 30 attractions about 25 miles south of Fort Worth. You can pick pumpkins in mixed shapes and colors, cut your own zinnias, and stay after dark for Mainstay Nights when the farm is lit. Food is the other half of the visit: street tacos, grilled beef burgers, fries, a house-smoked brisket sandwich and hand-dipped corn dogs, plus ice cream, brownies and floats at the filling station. Drinks include lemonade at The Squeeze, Wine Chillers, five Mainstay Farm wines on the Wine Terrace or at the haymarket, and agua frescas at the Taco Kitchen. The apple cannon and the Grand Funk '89 train are add-ons, and live music runs on select dates.
